Developing Distribution and Trade Centres.
Our first proposed Distribution and Trade Centre in Mamelodi West would bring purchasing, storage, handling and bulk distribution together in a permanent operation. It is intended as the next step in connecting agricultural supply with township markets. Further Gauteng centres form part of the longer-term Farm-to-Township strategy.
What the planned centre would support
- Purchasing and receiving stock
- Fresh and frozen product handling and storage
- Bulk sales and business customer supply
- Coordinated collections and deliveries
Township business supply
Township Business Supply
We aim to build ongoing bulk supply relationships with spaza shops, greengrocers, traders, caterers and restaurants. Their actual purchasing needs underpin the distribution model. Buying stock does not require joining a franchise.
Future neighbourhood access
Retail Nodes
Retail Nodes are a future small-format neighbourhood outlet model intended to extend local access to fruit, vegetables and frozen meat. They are not yet an operating network or an available franchise offering.
